My name is Emma Collins, and Dogiswithyou began long before it had a name — it started the day I brought home a small, quiet rescue dog named Milo.

At that time, I was working a demanding design job in the city. Life was busy, practical, and always moving forward — but also strangely empty. I lived alone in a small apartment, and the days felt repetitive. I adopted Milo not because I was “ready for a dog,” but because I realized I needed something warm and alive in my world.

Milo wasn’t the loud, playful kind of dog.
He followed me quietly.
Waited beside my chair while I worked.
Curled up at my feet when I was tired.

There was a calm, wordless companionship between us — the kind that doesn’t try to impress you, it simply stays.

And slowly, my life changed shape.

I started spending more time outdoors.
I learned to slow down.
I felt less alone.

And I realized —
people like me don’t just own dogs.

We build our emotional world around them.
